Susanka Showhouse 2004-V
Architect:
Sarah Susanka, FAIA
Susanka Studios
Total Sq. Ft.: 2979 Bedrooms: 3 Baths: 2.5
Celebrated architect and author, Sarah Susanka, used this home as the model for designing her stunning showhouse home. Both homes demonstrate the principles that she refers to as the architects tool box. These key principles related to the use of Space, Light and Order are outlined in her newest book, Home By Design. The incredibly detailed plans for the original home were drawn in 1997. Significant updates were made to the plan in May 2005, and we are proud to offer this new and updated version.

Jamie McNett
Total Sq. Ft.: 2623 Bedrooms: 3 Baths: 3.0
Meadow View is a rustic design that is equally at home in wide-open meadow landscape, wooded mountains, or water front location. This is a beautiful home, and is designed to take advantage of a beautiful location. It also is filled with features of a well thought out, healthy home plan. Its open floor plan, abundant windows, well designed roof with large overhangs, and the detached garage are all features that go beyond beautiful architecture: They all impact and improve the indoor air quality.
Field of Dreams
Architect:
Jean Larson
SALA Architects
Total Sq. Ft.: 2354 Bedrooms: 3 Baths: 2.5
Field of Dreams has long been one of our most popular homes, and was designed by Jean Larson with Steve Mooney and Greg Graton. This new home is specifically intended to look like it belongs to the land in its agrarian past. Its form revives the simplicity and good proportions of classic North American farmhouses. Featured in the highly acclaimed book Creating The Not So Big House by Sarah Susanka, in the introduction to The Farmhouse by Jean Larson, and recently in a feature article in Inspired House magazine, the home has become an icon.
