Michaela Mahady
SALA Architects Inc.
Michaela Mahady, AIA has continued her work as an art glass designer and co-owner of Pegasus Studio since becoming an architect. She joined SALA Architects in 1987 and became a partner in 1991. Prior to receiving a master of Architecture from the University of Minnesota in 1986, she received a B.A. in Art from Macalister College in 1973. Michaela is a registered Architect as well as a Certified Interior Designer in Minnesota.
Michaela has lectured at the Science Museum of Minnesota and the University of Minnesota Extension. Her awards include the Kraus Sykes Merit Award form the American Craft Competition and the MSIA Paper Architecture Competition Honorable Mention. She was part of the team that designed the 1999 LIFE Dream House, and was the designer of Maple Forest, a home featured on the PBS series HomeTime.
