LHB Engineers and Architects

Richard Carter, AIA was the AIA Minneapolis Director in 2001 has been working with LHB Engineers and Architects for over 10 years. LHB has been selected by the Consulting Engineers Council of Minnesota as the firm of the year. In June, 2001 LHB received the Environmental Sensitivity Award at the 45th Annual Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) convention. As quoted in CSI’s award, “LHB Engineers & Architects is selected for promoting and fostering environmental awareness in the construction industry, evidenced by their design of sustainable buildings and continued commitment and leadership to protect the environment through the use of the LHB Green Team and their firm’s dedication to sustainable design.” LHB has also received similar awards from the AIA, Committee on the Environment (COTE) and the US Green Building Council. LHB provides “designs that are as satisfying to the soul as they are kind to the environment”
